Willie Conway, 82, of Abilene, Texas passed away on August 1, 2020. A visitation will be 9:00 AM, Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 6, 2020, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park. A repass will begin after interment at the Golden Corral at Danville and Buffalo Gap Road.

Willie was born January 26, 1938, in Saint Louis, Missouri to James and Pinkie Coleman. After graduating from high school Willie began a career with the United States Airforce and retired as a Tech Sargent after 25 years of service. He also worked for the City of Abilene for 15 plus years. Willie loved road trips with his family and especially when the road trip involved fishing and camping with his children.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 45 years, Masue Conway; and all his siblings.

Willie is survived by his wife, Mary Conway; his three children, Shirley Ann Conway, Willie Conway Jr., and Susan Conway; ten stepchildren; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
