Wanda Wright

Wanda J. Wright, 91, formerly of Abilene, TX passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, in Dallas, TX.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S., Abilene, TX 79606. A private interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Wanda was born on August 5, 1930, in Sherman, Texas to the late Oscar Williams and Viola Mitchell Williams. She married Bobbie Lee Wright and were blessed with many years of marriage until Bobbie passed away in 1994. Wanda worked for Baacks Florist for many years. Her passion was her art, which included oil painting. She also enjoyed photography and being a mother, wife, friend, and artist. Wanda was a former member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Wanda is survived by her children, Larry Wright and wife Stacey, Nancy Campbell; grandchildren, Tyler Wright, Kylie Wright, Amanda Campbell; extended family and friends.

Wanda was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Williams.
