Theresa Flores

Theresa J. Flores, daughter of Doris N. Cooper and Willie L. Cooper Sr., born on June 23, 1969 in Tachikawa, Japan, 52, went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2021.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S. Abilene, TX. 79606. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.

Theresa received her early education in Abilene, TX and was a graduate of Cooper High School. She worked at Taco Bueno and Dillard Department stores and was very proud of her 20 years in customer service. Theresa was an active member of Antioch CME Church and the choir. One of the greatest joys of her life was her two grandsons.

Theresa leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter, Cassandra Garcia; grandchildren, Gabriel, and Adrien Garcia; brother, Willie Cooper Jr and niece, Justine Taylor and nephew, Justin Cooper; sister, Vikki Cooper; nephew, Louis Cooper; aunt, Linda Reese; numerous extended family and friends.
