Sherrae Mina

Sherrae Eloise Mina, 76, of Abilene passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Abilene.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 1 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 5 PM followed by a rosary at 6 PM at the funeral home.
Sherrae was born on November 5, 1944 in Washington D.C. to the late Captain Henry Seibel, US Army and Elizabeth Schmidt Seibel. She married Romeo Mina on September 1, 1962 in Universal City, Texas. Sherrae loved her family and enjoyed being active in the YMCA and swimming. When her daughter attended Johnston Elementary, she would volunteer in the library. She was a Catholic, but prior to her marriage volunteered and was active with the Lutheran Church. Sherrae will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Sherrae is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Romeo Mina; daughter, Rosana Mina-Meza; son-in law, Jorge Meza; her four dogs Snoopy, Buster, Pumpkin and Scooby as well as dear friends.
