Monique “T T” Sherone Alexander

Monique Sherone Alexander was born April 25, 1973, in Breckenridge Texas. Graveside Services will be at the Albany Cemetery on Friday, April 17, 2020 at 2:00pm. We asked that you stay in your vehicles and turn your radio's to FM 105.7 to listen to the live broadcast. You will not be able to listen from home.

Monique was always a strong willed person, Monique was a proud graduate of Abilene High School Class of 1991. During her high school years, she was represented in the 1989 -1990 and 1990 -1991 edition of Who’s Who Among American high school Student for her high standards of excellence in community leadership and positive performance. She attended Hardin Simmons University for several years.

Monique was baptized at Mount Zion 1st Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Richard Carter. She was a member of the youth choir and Monique later became the youth choir directors until she moved to Dallas, Texas. She took pride is this honor where she won the respect in favor of her fellow friends and Christian sisters and brothers. She assumed the role of Godmother to Kaylee Conner during this transition and was close to them all. She was always a hard

Monique was employed by Time Warner cable in Dallas where she exercised her people skills and develop knowledge of the business world. Monique also worked for Al-Tel, TWC and Regis.

After being diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy, Monique returned to Abilene to live with her family for a short time. Her will to beat this debilitating diagnosis, she fought hard to get back to walking and taking care of her world, her daughter Janari and Lacy. Upon returning to Dallas, she worked numerous jobs to support and maintain her dignity and make a home for her and her daughter.

Monique was an active part of Janari’s school and extra-curricular activities. She was a coach with the Pleasant Grove Hurricanes for several years.

Monique leaves to cherish her daughter Janari, her parents, Paula Alexander Garner and Edward Dean Sr., her sibling, Edward “E.D.” Dean Jr , god sister, Janeen Robinson, godson Aiyden Poole, brother-in-law Floyd Robinson Jr., her grandfather, J.W Alexander,. her aunts, Candi Dunning(husband- Curnell), Jo Alexander, Marsha Alexander, her uncles, Johnny, Jaime, and Charles Dean, Monique was the recipient of numerous cousins that bonded them as sisters in their respectibe roles. They were always close nit. Better known to her nieces and nephews as “T T”, lasting impression includes Kierra, Ki’Yauna, Kamora, K’syn, BJ, Jay & Shannon McCree and children. Others to cherish her memories, Steve Williams, Doris Grant, Davette Warner, Janet Mitchell (Danny and Annie Williams and many other cousins, relatives, friends, and associates.

She was preceded in death her daughter Qualaysha (Lacy) Norman, her sister Dwan Robinson, her stepfather, Allen Garner , her grandmother Frances Alexander and Dorothy Dean, uncles Rocky Alexander, Dale Dean, Larry Dean, James Dean and cousin Ashford Alexander, Mylliah Royals
