Mary was born April 25, 1937 to Cyril and Ruth Crouch in Ben Franklin, Texas. Mary was raised on a farm where her love for animals began. She loved riding her horse, Brownie, and helping take care of all of the farm animals. As she got older, she grew enthusiastic about art and creativity. She spent a lot of time sketching, painting, and writing stories for her younger sisters. She discovered her true passion in making porcelain dolls, at which she became very skilled and talented. Mary spent much of her spare time teaching others how to make these beautiful porcelain dolls she loved doing this. Professionally, Mary spent over 50 years of working as a nurse. She dedicated her life to helping others and caring for her patients. She was a devoted nurse loved by all her patients. Mary loved her family more than anything. She loved her mother and father, husband, children, grandchildren, sisters, friends, patients, and all her pets, especially her Pomeranians! She had the biggest heart. Mary was such a happy person, she loved to laugh and had the most beautiful smile. Her faith, family and friends are what filled her heart with joy. She lived life to the fullest and never took a day for granted. Mary had such a strong and dedicated faith. Despite anything going on in her life or the world, she always kept her undenying faith. Mary loved her Guardian Angel, who brought her strength and peace. Mary was a woman of God and lived her life on a path of righteousness and dedication, as she walked hand-in-hand with her Guardian Angel. She was a devoted member of Northside Baptist for many years where she regularly attended church and Sunday school.
