Maria Andrews

Maria Louisa Andrews passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in Abilene, Texas. A visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, May 31, 2021 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Maria was born November 17, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Antonio and Juanita Luevano. Her family moved to Eagle Pass, Texas where her dad was a minister. In 1957 she married the love of her life Billy C. Andrews and the couple had a very blissful marriage for over 63 years. Billy was in the United States Air Force and they were stationed multiple locations before ending at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. Maria enjoyed knitting, playing cards, and reading especially her Bible. She is very loved and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings.

Maria is survived by her husband, Billy C. Andrews; her children, Billy C. Andrews Jr., Tony Andrews and his wife Jan, Nancy Hall and her husband Phillip, and Paul Andrews and his wife Lyn; her eight grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Preston,Chris, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Jeffery, and Aaron; eight great grandchildren; and her niece, Yolanda Finnegan.
