Margarita Alva

Margarita B. Alva passed away on May 24th, 2020 in Abilene, TX surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Alva after 48 years of marriage; and son-in-law, Martin Loza. Margarita is survived by her children Kay Loza, Patric Alva, Deborah Warfield and her husband Darwin. Grandchildren Robert Warfield, Carlos Warfield, Christian Fick, and Margi Loza.

Margarita had a Texas-sized heart for her family. She enjoyed traveling to visit her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margarita loved cheering for her San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite flower is the Yellow Rose of Texas. Her faith in our Lord was inspirational to the end of her days.

Rosary services will be held on June 1st, 2020 at Goetz Funeral Home, 713 N Austin St, Seguin, TX 78155. 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on June 2nd, 2020 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1114 Willow St. San Antonio Tx 78208. 11am to 12pm. Burial on June 2nd, 2020 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209. 1pm to 2pm. (family only)
