Louis Carrasco

Louis Rivera Carrasco, 70, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 in Abilene, Texas. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.

Louis was born February 2, 1950 in Colorado City, Texas to Concepcion and Maria Carrasco. Louis graduated from Colorado City High School in 1967. After graduation Louis attended Howard County College and had a 32 year career with Coca Cola in Abilene, Texas. Louis married the love of his life Gloria on November 7, 1970 and couple had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Louis was a true musician with a talent of playing several instruments. He loved to hunt, fish, and all things Ruger. Louis could always be found enjoying a Dallas Cowboys football game during the season. Above all Louis loved his family with his whole heart and he will be missed tremendously.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Louis is survived by his wife, Gloria Carrasco; his daughter, Ginger Evans and her husband Curtis; his granddaughter, Hannah Evans; his sister, Lupe Herrera; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, hunting buddies, and friends.
