Lloyd was born June 15, 1938, to Howard and Otha Rosenbaum in Odessa, Tx. He attended Abilene schools and as an active Boy Scout, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He met his future wife, Pat Cooke, at Abilene High School. They married on November 29, 1957. Lloyd worked in the construction industry and was a Master Plumber who specialized in Construction Management. He was also a Scottish Rite Master Craftsman and received his 50 year pin as a Master Mason while belonging to Hobah Lodge #1394. As a dedicated dad to three sons, he led Boy Scout troops, sponsored Rodeo teams, supported FFA, attended multiple sporting events, coached a lot of Little League baseball and served as President of the Northern Little League.

In 1973 his family left Abilene to begin his career as a Construction Manager in the Power Industry that took them to many parts of Texas. In 1992 he became Chief of Construction in Austin for Texas Preservation League for the restoration of the State Capital. As a last hurrah, they moved to Las Vegas to work on one last construction project before retiring in Abilene. Along the way he continued his education and was awarded a Bachelor degree in Business from Midwestern State University at the age of 50.

He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Open-Door Sunday School class. Even in retirement he continued to share his vast knowledge of construction by accompanying youth on Church Mission Trips and gave tirelessly of his time, talents and tools to help build Fort Imagination, the Community Built Playground.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Rosenbaum, sons Clint and wife Pam of Abilene, Curt and Beckie of Lake Whitney and Clay and Debbie of Blanco, seven grandchildren, Jessica McGaughey, James Rosenbaum, Ashley Gabbard, Amy Sheehan, Cade, Cole, and Coye Rosenbaum and seven great-grandchildren.
