Lewis Henry

Lewis Burton Henry, 87, of Abilene, Texas was called to his eternal resting place on November 21, 2020. A graveside service will be at noon, on Friday, November 27, 2020 in Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene Texas.

He was born in Abilene on January 1, 1933, to Lewis David and Deola Henry. He married the love of his life, Pearlie Ann Henry on September 2, 1950. They shared 67 wonderful and precious years together, and he cherished her memory for the next 3 ½ years.

Lewis was a devoted man of God and active in his church community. He worked hauling lumber until he was 84 years old. Lewis enjoyed the outdoors and collecting clocks. Above all he loved his grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pearlie Ann Henry; and his parents, Lewis and Deola Henry.

Lewis is survived by his children, Marsha Tyler, and Gary Henry and wife Kathy; his grandchildren, Alesha Duncan and husband Shane, Brandon Tyler and wife Amanda, Kevin Henry, and Bridget Smith and husband Daryl; his siblings, Kenneth Henry, and Billy Joe Dillard; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
