Obituary

Juanita Large, 85, formerly of Abilene, TX passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Galveston, TX.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 US HWY 277 S., Abilene, TX.

Juanita was born on June 27, 1936, in Cisco, TX to the late Eroscus Lee Parker and Mamie Leona Yarbrough Parker. She was a wonderful wife to John Howard Large and a loving mother to her daughter Lee and son Hayden. Juanita was a member of College View Baptist Church before spending her last 10 years living happily in Galveston, TX.

Juanita is survived by her children, Dr. Lee Grumbles, Hayden Large and wife Susan; grandchildren, Melia Boone, and husband Tiger, Billy Large, William Schmidt; great grandchildren, Ava Boone, Colin Boone, Isaiah Schmidt.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Large.
