Isaac Hernandez, 29, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022, in Glendale, Arizona.
Isaac was born on August 31, 1993, in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Abilene High School in 2012. Isaac met Sarah Myers in high school and what started out as a friendship evolved into true love. Isaac and Sarah married on July 30, 2017 and began a life of adventures and memories to last a lifetime. Their greatest blessing was when their daughter, Emma, was born in 2014.
Isaac joined the United States Air Force in November 2017. He graduated basic military training in January 2018 from Lackland Air Force Base San Antonio Texas. The Hernandez family arrived in Anchorage, Alaska at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson in April 2018. Their next duty station was Luke Air Force base in Glendale, Arizona where they arrived in April 2021. In August of 2022, Isaac was selected for promotion to Staff Sergeant and was currently awaiting Airman Leadership School. Senior Airman Hernandez repaired and maintained the F-22 Raptor, C-17 Globemaster, F-16 Fighting Falcon, E-3 AWACS, and the F-35 Lightening where he excelled as an aircraft fuel systems mechanic.
Isaac lived an active and adventurous life, spending most of his time in the gym, his garage, riding his motorcycle, or hiking with his family. His most loved adventure was being a dad to Emma.
Isaac was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Hernandez.
Isaac is survived by his wife, Sarah; daughter, Emma Hernandez; siblings, Aaron Rodriguez, Iris Rodriguez, Cassandra Hernandez, Rea Rodriguez, Roxanna McFerrin, Meagan Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, Abel Rodriguez, Ashlee Rodriguez, Deon Rodriguez, Malachai Rodriguez, and Caleb Rodriguez.
