Edith Boren

Edith Fay Boren 83, of Walterboro South Carolina, entered in to rest Thursday morning, July 23. 2020. She was the wife of the late Clinton Lesley.

Born April 5. 1937, in Delta County Texas, she was a daughter of the late Homer Boren and Mary Ellen Edward's Boren. She's a lifelong resident of Texas until moving to South Carolina to be with family. She was the manager of the bakery at the old Super Duper for several years and worked in the bakery at United before retiring.   She enjoyed watching Western and old time movies. Upon moving to South Carolina,  she enjoyed visiting Charleston   the beach and the Mepkin Abbey.  She so enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Surviving are: three daughters. Jackie Jones, Susan Hofheins and Katherine Heckler,  Son-in-law Mark Heckler, sister Glenda Stringfellow; Four Grandchildern, Brandi Sanders, Jeremy Jones, Brittany Lybarger and Nina Lerma; as well as ten Great Grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and sister, Hazel Singer.

Graveside funeral services will be held on August 5, 2020, at 10 am at Elmwood Memorial Park, Abilene, Tx.
