Consuelo Lavender

Consuelo Lavender, 79, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.

Consuelo was born on November 28, 1941 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Pedro and Otilia Gonzalez. She met the love of her life, Willard Lavender in Monahans, Texas and the couple were married on April 20, 1970 in Odessa, Texas. Consuelo spent her life caring for her family. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time with her friends and most of all her family. She was very loved and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard Lavender; her siblings, Faustino Larrea, Manuel Larrea, and Clelia Gonzales; stepsons, Eugene Lavender, and Stacy Lavender.

Consuelo is survived by her daughter, Michelle Scott and her husband Thomas; stepson, Teddy Lavender; granddaughter, Jessica Lavender; two brothers, Tino Larrea, and Chago Larrea.
