Carolyn Faye Davis, 79, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Abilene, Texas. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Carolyn was born July 11, 1942 in Winters, Texas to Paul and Minnie Gerlach. As a young child she lived in Bradshaw until her father took a job running a car lot in Winters. She attended Winters High School and Commercial College earning a degree in bookkeeping. On June 17, 1958 she married Robert Eugene Davis and the couple had three children. Carolyn had the opportunity to be in the home and raise her children during their childhood.  Robert Davis passed away several years before Carolyns death. After her children grew up Carolyn worked for several different companies as a bookkeeper. Carolyn enjoyed working with her flowers, dancing, and her kitty cats. Most of all Carolyn loved her family with all her heart and will be missed every day.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Davis Carter; and two sisters, Emma Ruth Williams, and Melba Emmert.

Carolyn is survived by two children, Randall Davis of Clyde, TX, and Rhonda Davis Kilburn and husband Troy of Manchester Center, VT ; three grandchildren, Brittany Carter, Kayla Mccallum, and Marissa Perkins; six great grandchildren, Teagen, Tristan, Brock, Olivia, Layne, and Mackenzie; two sisters, Ann Baldwin, Darla Cruz; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
