Barbara Threadgill

Barbara Joan Threadgill, 88, of Abilene passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in Sherman, Tx.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021at Coleman Cemetery, Coleman, Tx.
Joan was born on March 5, 1933 in Walnut Shade, Missouri, to the late Alpha Melton and Erna Louis Melton. She worked as a quality control manager for Timex and Crown Cork and Seal in the manufacturing industry for many years. Joan was a faithful Christian and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn, and John Gaylord; son, Steve and Ann Threadgill; grandchildren, Shawn Threadgill, Clayton Phelps and Margaret Threadgill; great-grandchildren, Alisa Threadgill, Samantha Threadgill, Ivy Threadgill, Jace Threadgill and Faith Threadgill.
