Barbara Gann, 79 years of age, has gone to her new home in Heaven. She fought to the end but her body gave out. She was a very strong lady and she is loved by many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lucille Wallace of Anson; and her son, Ray Baswell of Abilene, Texas. She left behind her daughters, Teresa Bagwell, Melissa Bagwell, and Brenda Bagwell Oladuti all of Abilene, Texas; her sister, Shirley Dixon of Abilene, Texas; her brother, Tommy Wallace of Odessa, Texas; several nieces, and nephews; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She spent the last 20 years devoted to loving and caring in the home health care industry. Barbara also owned and loved running what was known as Skateland in Abilene. Barbara touched many hearts in her lifetime and will be missed by family and friends.
A visitation will be held, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in the Anson Cemetery.
