Andree Germaine Gwinn, 86, of Abilene passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 in McKinney.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 10 AM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Saturday from 9 to 10 AM prior to the service.
Andree was born on January 4, 1934 in Perigueux, France to the late Eugene Rischard and Marie Louise Montagut Rischard. She met Lewis Virgil Gwinn while he was stationed in France, and they married on October 15th, 1955. They were blessed with 3 children and 53 years of marriage until his passing in February of 2009. In 1966 Andree received her Citizenship. Andree enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, specially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Andree is survived by her children, Bobby Eugene Gwinn (Yolanda), Garry Lee Gwinn (Tami); daughter in-law, Debbie Gwinn; grandchildren, Travis Gwinn (Dana), Christopher Gwinn, Ryan Gwinn, Bobby Ray Gwinn, Waylon Gwinn (Laura), Garrett Gwinn, Autumn Fawcett (Brad), Justin Gwinn (Kristen), Jessica Soliz (Tony) Bryan Gwinn, Jessica Soliz, great grandchildren, Kylie Gwinn, Preslie Gwinn, Cash Gwinn, Easton Gwinn, Piper Gwinn, Olivia Fawcett, Sunshine Gwinn, Gracie Gwinn, Madison Gwinn, Darci Gwinn, Chase Gwinn, Gunner Gonzales, Lenzi Gonzales, Jayce Soliz, Samantha Soliz; sibling, Marie Lesouef; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Andree was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Gwinn, grandchild, Aaron Gwinn and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
