Wanda Jeanette Nash, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, in Abilene, Texas, at the age of 91. She was born on September 25, 1934, in Coleman, Texas, and spent her life nurturing her family and enriching the lives of those around her.

Wanda was a dedicated member of the banking industry, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to her profession. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Wanda enjoyed family gatherings, where her laughter and spirit lit up the room. She adored traveling and cherished the spontaneous road trips, even if it was just to the next town over.

Later in life, Wanda married Burl Nash, with whom she shared a wonderful companionship. Together, they created countless memories and enjoyed a fulfilling life filled with love and joy. Wanda was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness.She is survived by her loving sons, Tony Wyatt, and Gary Wyatt; daughters-in-law Kayla Wyatt and Sheila Wyatt; and sisters Beverly Watson. Wanda also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, including nieces, Pamela Bradberry McMurray and Dee Keeney, who enjoyed spending time with her.

A visitation will be held at Elmwood Funeral Home's Family Center on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, located at 5750 HWY 277 South, Abilene, TX 79606.

Wanda Jeanette Nash will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, family, and friendship will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
