Walter Cain

Walter Phillip Cain, 82, of Abilene, Texas passed away July 24, 2022, in Abilene, Texas.

Walter was born on April 27, 1940, in Akron, Ohio to the late Andrew Miller Cain and Jessie Sarah Rickwood Cain. He attended the university of Akron prior to serving his country in the Army Reserves. He worked many years as a machinist prior to retiring. Walter moved to Texas to be near his family. He loved all animals and enjoyed reading and studying.
Walter was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cain; sister, Vivian Boyd, sister, Audrey Haehner; brother, Donald Cain.
Walter is survived by his siblings, Carl Cain and wife Fran of California, Kathleen Kolick of Ohio, Patricia Yaros and husband Frank of Ohio, Kenneth Cain and wife Nancy of Maryland, Shirley Weese and husband Steve of Ohio; 3 adopted children, Kyle Cain, Francis Cain, Retha Price; 2 grandchildren; numerous extended family.
