Ulysses Samayoa

Ulysses Samayoa 25, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in Abilene, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.

Ulysses was born in Northridge, California to his parents Victor and Lorena on July 24, 1998. He was a graduate of Cooper High School class of 2017.

Ulysses had a heart of gold and prioritized the well-being of others above all else. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Ulysses will remember him as a true friend. Once he opened up to you, his spirited conversations and unwavering support made it clear that you had gained a friend for life. Ulysses was known for his love of the gym; a place where he sought solace and rejuvenation whenever he felt down. Some of the things that he loved to do were to collect guns and knives, he also loved the outdoors and hunting.

He is survived by his father, Victor Samayoa; his mother, Lorena and husband Ruben Diaz; sister, Theresa Casarez; twin brother, Misael Samayoa; brother, Ivan Samayoa; sister, Amy Samayoa; grandparents, Juan and Olga Cervantes; grandparents, Jose and Rosemary Samayoa; and many other family members.

Ulysses will be missed by all family and friends who loved him deeply.
