Starla Mcwilliams

Starla Gray McWilliams, 42, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 in Abilene. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 23rd at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Starla was born February 17, 1966 in Kermit, TX. She was a 1985 graduate of Fort Stockton High School. She moved to Abilene twenty years ago and married her husband Steve on May 31, 2003. Starla was an avid collector of bells, enjoyed spending her free time bowling and was a dedicated participant in WHIMS. Starla was a dedicated wife, meme, daughter, sister, aunt and most of all friend.

Survivors include, her husband Steve of Abilene; step-son, Steven McWilliams and wife Kailin of Allen, TX; one grandchild, Jordan McWilliams; parents, Sherry Dee and Harvey Gray of Fort Stockton, TX, and Mo Jr. and Sharon Sims of Porter, TX; Grandmother, Dorothy Workman of Kermit, TX; Grandfather Mo Sims Sr. of The Woodlands, TX; one sister, Soni and husband Todd Graves of The Woodlands, TX; one brother, Scott and wife Erica Gray of Abilene; one half-brother, Brian Sims of Porter, TX; two step-sisters, Sherry Taber of Lynnville, IN and Kari Zella of Huntsville, TX; Two step-brothers Mark Erwin of Mount Vernon, IN and Michael Erwin of Atascocita, TX.
