Scott Lucas

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Scott Clifford Lucas, who left us peacefully on November 11, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on July 29, 1957, Scott was a proud Abilene, Texas resident, and a Fun-loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Scott married the love of his life, Carol McBeth, on November 1, 1980, in Abilene. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Ryan S. Lucas and his wife Camille, and Daylon R. Lucas, and wife Katie. Scott is blessed with one beautiful granddaughter, Jocelynn, one handsome grandson Jayce who brought immense joy into their lives. Scott is survived by his sibling, Mickey L. Salinas.

A talented tradesman, Scott retired from Lucas Plumbing and Heating, a family business that he dedicated many years of service to. He also played an essential role in managing A & L Loc-N-Stor, a storage unit business that was passed down from his parents. In his later years, Scott pursued his passion for technology by starting his own computer business, P.C. Savers.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Dolores Lucas.
