Obituary

Russell Andrew Clark, beloved husband, father, and dedicated public servant, passed away from cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Clark, and his three children: Matthew Clark, Gabrielle Clark, and Mason Clark. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Clark, his mother, Harriett Clark, and his brother, Jim Clark

Russell served with distinction as a Police Officer with the Abilene Police Department from 1992 to 2013, and later as a State Police Officer with the Texas Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General from 2013 until 2026. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to protecting his community.

Russell had a strong faith in the Lord that guided him throughout his life. Alongside his wife, Jeanette, he faithfully volunteered at Beltway Park church and found joy in serving others and sharing God's love with those around him.

In his personal time, Russell found joy in "shindigs" with friends and family, westerns, farming, raising cattle, welding, and construction projects, embracing the values of hard work and the outdoors.

His family will cherish the memories of a man who lived with integrity, courage, a steadfast faith in God, and a deep love for the simple pleasures of life. His legacy of service, faith, and devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
