Rosalinda Rodriguez

Rosalinda B Rodriguez, 67, of Abilene passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, in Abilene.

A prayer service followed by visitation with the family will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S., Abilene, TX 79606. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Midway Cemetery, Hawley, TX.

Rosalinda was born in Eddy, TX, to the late Amado Z Benavides and Alicia A McCoy Benavides. She and her spouse and partner of 8 years, Joe Banda had made a wonderful life together. Rosalinda enjoyed shopping and was known as a very good cook. She truly loved her family and spending time with them whenever possible. Rosalinda was a Christian and a member of Israel Baptist Church.

Rosalinda is survived by her husband, Joe Banda; sons, Ernest Rodriguez (Mindy), Daniel Rodriguez (Stephanie); grandchildren, Samantha Lynn Rodriguez; sister in-law, Esther Mejia; brothers, Amado Benavides Jr, Robert Benavides (Dora), Richard Benavides (Cindy), John Benavides (Diana); numerous extended family and friends.
