Rickie Dale Cooper, a beloved member of the Abilene community, passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on September 23, 1954, Rickie enjoyed a life filled with diverse experiences and passions. He spent many years working as a roofer for Maxwell Roofing, contributed to M&M Wrecking, and showcased his mechanical skills in various positions, including detailing vehicles.

A true lover of old Western films, Rickie found joy in assembling model cars and working alongside the crew of Red Boy Racing. His spirit and enthusiasm will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rickie is survived by his brother, Danny Cooper; son-in-law, James Parker; and grandchildren, Raymon and Elizabeth Parker. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Tamera Cooper, daughter Amanda Parker, sister Shilla Pearce, and brother Randy Cooper, parents Shirley and Billy Cooper.

Memorial services will be held at later date.
