Rex Bland, a cherished member of the Abilene community, passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on June 4, 1949, in Abilene, Texas, Rex devoted his life to his family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends will gather to honor Rex’s memory at a visitation held in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel located at 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas, on October 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A funeral service will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church, at 5410 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene, Texas, on October 23, 2025, starting at 10:30 AM.
