Randy Lee Owens

February 15, 1973 — January 22, 2026

Randy Lee Owens, born on February 15, 1973, in Abilene, Texas, passed away January 22, 2026. Randy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, cherished by all who knew him and celebrated for his vibrant spirit and love for life.

Randy called Abilene home most of his life but enjoyed 11 years in Casper Wyoming.  He was proudly serving as an electrician and contributing to the community in which he was born and raised. Randy was a member of North Park Baptist Church. Randy was known for being a big teddy bear, a gentle giant whose laughter and joy were contagious. He was a longstanding member of the Rebel Riders motorcycle group; he cherished the camaraderie of his fellow riders and held a special place in his heart for those unforgettable adventures. Although he retired from the group, he will always be remembered as an integral part of their family.

He had a remarkable bond with his mother, Leslie, often playfully knowing just how to push her buttons. His love for his family was unmatched, and he took pride in his children and grandchildren.

Randy is survived by his beloved spouse, Pam Owens, and his legacy is carried on through his children: Stephen Struve and his wife Tana, along with their daughters Paisley and Gracie; daughter Kara Sanders and husband Quinten, and their children Bristen Lee, Alli, Thalia, and Tyriq; son David LaBrenz; daughter Tasha Wright and husband Mark, with their children Taylor, Stetson, Justin, Slade, Kindyl, Hayden, and Hadlee; daughter Cassie Moore and husband Daniel, along with their daughters Kaitlyn, Hailey, and Madisyn; son Ryan LaBrenz and wife Cynthia; son Nikolas LaBrenz and wife Gabie; son Aric Barrera and wife Shaina, and their child Damien; daughter Breanna Barrera and her son Elijah; and his most precious great-granddaughter, Sawyer Jean, with another great-grandchild, Ella Reese, soon to join the family. He is also survived by his brother, Rodney Owens.

A funeral service will be held to celebrate Randy's life on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Joe Grizzle at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 6:00- 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel 5750 Hwy 277 South. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be available for Encore Livestreaming and will be shared across social media, ensuring that all who loved Randy can join in honoring his remarkable journey.

As we come together to remember and celebrate his life, we are reminded of the countless ways he touched our hearts and the joy he brought to our lives.
