February 19, 1947 — January 17, 2023

Ramah Faye McGuire, 75, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. A celebration of Ramah’s life will be held 10 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2023 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Ramah was born February 19, 1947 in Stamford, Texas to George and Minnie Turner. She worked as a LVN for Hendrick Medical Center for many years. Ramah met and married the love of her life Johnny McGuire and the couple spent many blissful years until his passing. After Johnny’s passing Ramah started working for Walmart and really enjoyed the socialization it provided. Ramah was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years and loved her church family dearly. She always enjoyed the Holidays with Christmas being her favorite. She collected Santa’s and loved to watch the Hallmark Channel and Blue Bloods. Above all Ramah loved her family especially her fur babies. Her love will be felt in our hearts forever.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny McGuire; her parents, George and Minnie Turner; and three siblings, Vic McGuire, Rhonda Maguire, and Janette Hoppe.

Ramah is survived by her daughters, Kim Vaughn and her husband David, and Tamra McGuire; her fur babies, Clifford and Cara; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
