Paul Sidney Spieler, 87, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at his home in Abilene.
Paul was born in Abilene on May 27, 1922 the son of Charles C. Spieler and Bess Lee Robinson Spieler. He was a 1940 graduate of Abilene High and was proud to have helped coordinate their 50 year reunion in 1991. He attended Hardin-Simmons for 1 year before proudly serving his country for three years during WWII as part of the Army Air Force. Paul worked for West Texas Utilities and retired after 38 years as a switchboard operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
