Paul Eck

Paul Robert Eck, 74, passed away November 16, 2016 in Abilene. His Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November, 19, 2016 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South.
He was born in a Missouri doctor's house, as an 8-month baby weighing 3lbs, Paul grew into a big man. He went far as a "Army Brat", had an Air Force career of 22 years, was a Corrections Lieutenant at Travis County Sheriff Dept. for 10 years and TDCJ as a corrections officer at French Robertson Unit for 10 years, upon retiring again he rode his horses, enjoyed Dallas Cowboys with dear friends James & Karen Pruett, and visited many casino's and horse sales. Paul was Raconteur of note always amusing his in-laws and cousins with a good story.

He was husband to Kathleen Joan "Donna"; Father to Paul Donald and Daniel Alister Nathan and wife Anquenette, Robin & Greg Hunt; brother, to Mike Eck & Linday Gerber; Grandfather to 8 Grand Children; Great Grandfather to two pretty girls. He will be sorely missed and remembered. Leaving behind many In-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
