In Loving Memory of Patsie Jo [Bell] Mansker-Reed

Patsie Jo Mansker-Reed [nee Bell], 93, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, February 16, 2026, in Abilene, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to those dear to her.

Born April 18, 1932, in the small town of Sabanno, Texas. Patsie is the daughter of John and Flossie Bell [nee Grisham]. Throughout her life, Patsie demonstrated resilience and grace. She was a devoted wife to William Mansker for more than forty years. Patsie became a mother in 1949, welcoming her first daughter, Linda. Over the years, she and William grew their family to include a son Jerry, daughter Sandra Baird [nee Mansker], and youngest son David. Each of her children held a unique and special place in her heart.

Patsie Jo found happiness in the simple pleasure of life. She was an exceptional cook, sharing her homemade creations with loved ones. For more than twenty years, she dedicated herself to her work within the Abilene ISD, and retired in 1993. Patsie also enjoyed traveling across Texas and beyond. Her skill in crocheting was evident in the many quilts and designs she lovingly crafted. As time passed, Patsie made lasting friendships at the Rose Park Senior Center, where she cherished the banter, games, and luncheons with those she met.

She leaves behind family and friends who will forever cherish her memory and carry her lessons of perseverance and unconditional love in their hearts.

Patsie is survived by her son, Jerry Mansker [Cornelia]; daughter, Sandra Baird [David]; and son, David Mansker [Patricia]. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, and numerous family friends.

Preceding Patsie in death is her father, John Bell; mother, Flossie Bell; husbands, William Mansker and Robert Reed; daughter, Linda Johnston [nee Mansker]; grandsons, Eddie Bishop, and Billy Bishop; and granddaughter, Robin Bishop.

Though she is no longer physically with us, Patsie Jo's spirit lives on in the lives she touched, the love she freely gave, and the legacy she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at:
