Patrick McDaniel

Patrick McDaniel was born on September 11, 1959, in Abilene, Texas to the late Julius and Betty McDaniel. He peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home on March 23, 2024.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by son Sean Brown; maternal grandparents; Luther and Vertie Brooks; paternal grandparents; Lee Ester James and Julius Wane McDaniel.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 608 North 7th Street 79601, Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be April 5, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Elmwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park 5750 Hwy 277 South Abilene, Texas.

Patrick graduated from Abilene High School. He was a resident of Concord, NC. Patrick was the owner of Karate at the Crosswords. For over fifty years he shared his passion of Martial Arts with his students, family and friends. Patrick enjoyed music and in his spare time he loved to sing, played the drums, bass guitar and was also a songwriter.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, children Demetrick Keckley, Christina Hines, Ama Casey, Layla Session (Matthew) all of Abilene, Texas, Paki Brown (Sayun) of San Antonia, Texas, Jawad McDaniel, Deyanna McDaniel both of Concord, NC; uncle Edgar Brooks, four sisters: Darcus Carr, Carles McDaniel both of Chesapeake, VA, Charlotte Brown (Billy ) of Houston, Texas, Lee Ester Posey of Fort Worth, Texas, 32 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
