Oscar "Sonny" Lee Fields 89 yrs died June 13, 2026, in Abilene, Texas.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 29, 2026, at 10:00am at Macedonia Baptist Church, 608 North 7th Street, Abilene, Texas.

Sonny was born February 11, 1937, to Chauncy Williams and Evalee Harris in Abilene, Texas.

Sonny was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and attended up until he became ill.

Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brother John Earl William, Bobby Joe Harris and Brother-in-law Billy Glover.

Left to cherish is memories his sister Trudy Glover, his children, Lois Edwards (Bobby), Abilene; Jacqueline Brooks, Fort Worth; Tony Fields (Bobbie), Dallas; Greg Fields, Fort Worth; Ricky Fields, Fort Worth; Angela Fields, Abilene; Janet Fields- Freeman ( Shawn), Fort Worth; Gerome Fields (Shannon), Abilene; Deborah Spears Atlanta, Georgia; Michelle Fields, Columbia, Maryland; Byron Fields, Fort Worth; Yalanda White, Dallas; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin and other relatives and friend.
