Nancy Ann Bradshaw Braly (Nanny), a woman whose warmth and love touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on September 21, 2023. A visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday, September 25, 2023 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Southwest Park Baptist Church, 2901 S. 20th street, Abilene, Texas.

Nancy was born on August 15, 1939, in Cross Plains, a testament to a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Nancy was the beloved daughter of Davie and Anna Belle Hale, who raised her in a Christian home teaching her to always place God first in her life. Her love for the Lord could be seen through the values her parents instilled in her, of kindness, resilience, and unwavering love. She carried these principles with her throughout her remarkable life, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Nancy's passion for beauty and her talent as a cosmetologist led her to pursue her dreams, and she achieved them wholeheartedly. She owned and operated her own hair salon, named the "Beauty Box," where she shared her creative flair and brought smiles to countless faces. Her skilled hands not only transformed appearances but also uplifted spirits, creating lasting connections with her clients.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Nancy was an avid collector of cookbooks. She derived immense joy from exploring new recipes, experimenting in the kitchen, and sharing delicious meals with her loved ones.

Nancy's zest for life knew no bounds. She found joy in every moment, relishing in activities such as shopping, gardening, nurturing plants, and dancing to her heart's content. Her vibrant spirit and infectious enthusiasm drew people near, and her warmth enveloped all in her presence. She had a heart that knew no limits, and her capacity for love was boundless.

Nancy attended Southwest Park Baptist Church, where her faith guided her throughout her life. While Nancy excelled in many roles, her most cherished roles were those of a loving wife and mother. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, and her love was a constant source of comfort and support. However, her heart found its greatest joy in her precious grandchildren, whose presence brought a twinkle to her eye and an unending smile to her face.

Nancy Ann Bradshaw Braly's life was a testament to the beauty of love, kindness, and joy. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kevin Bradshaw; her grandson, Conner Bradshaw; two great grandchildren, Brody, and Kevin; and two brothers, Nicky Hale, and Tommy Hale.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Bob Braly; two children, Kelly Edwards and her husband Mark, and Doyle Earl Bradshaw and his wife Amanda; step son, Rick Braly and wife Rhonda; her grandchildren, Tara Regala and husband Reggie, Cody Bradshaw, Chance Bradshaw and wife Emily, Clay Bradshaw, Haley Shuler and husband Ryan, Colton Bradshaw and wife Pamela, Austin Braly and wife Amber, Taylor Braly, Madison Braly; great grandchildren, Braden, Dylan, Azlyn, Cutter, Chloe, Hunter, Weston, Hensley, Christian, Charlie, Coen, Elliot, Aidenn, Kaydence, and Wylder; her sister, Judy Clevenger and husband James; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

As we bid farewell to Nancy, let us celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the love she shared. May her spirit continue to inspire us to embrace life with open hearts, to find joy in every moment, and to spread kindness wherever we go.
