Meagan Smith

Our precious Meagan Nicole Smith ran into the arms of Jesus on November 11th, 2025 at the age of 29. She was born on April 16, 1996 in Abilene, Texas to Tim and Pam Smith.

Meagan was a truly YOUnique young lady who taught life lessons like how to appreciate the smaller yet valuable joys in life. She loved her family and friends, her Barney shows, picking out different toys to carry around and car rides. All who knew her know she gave the best smiles and moments of laughter which made others laugh as well.

Meagan is survived by her loving parents, Tim and Pam Smith, her brother Brandon Smith and his fiancé Ashley Gholson. Her grandparents are Nita Brewer and Darrell and Priscilla Wood. Meagan's aunts and uncles are John and Deborah Moore and their children Mallory, Ben, Ava and Joseph, Jason and Siersha Giroux and their children Cosette and Henry and Debbie Gordon and her daughter Hannah. Meagan also has numerous beloved extended family.

She is preceded in death by her aunt Krystal Laramore and grandfather Neal Brewer.

Meagan's family wishes to sincerely thank her PCP for many years Dr. Robert Wiley, numerous other doctors and nurses and also caregivers for their dedication to helping Meagan be as healthy and happy as possible. A special recognition extends to the Hendrick Hospice Care Center for their excellent care for Meagan as she transitioned to her heavenly home.

Graveside Services will be November 15, 2025 @ 1:00pm at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:30pm @ Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.
