Maria Cordero

Maria Isabel Cordero, "Lisa", 42 passed away August 12, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home located at 5750 Highway 277 South. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.

Lisa was born January 13, 1973 in Plainview, Texas. Maria was a dedicated employee for Wal-Mart and had achieved 20 years of service.

She is survived by a loving family that includes; sons, Jose R. Cordero, Jose P. Cordero, Brandon Cordero, and Ezekiel Chavez, and daughters Stephanie Cordero and Brandi LeAnn Cordero, as well as her life-long companion, Leonard Castillo. Lisa is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters which include; Angela Mendoya, Dolores Herrera, Rosalinda Flores, Yolanda Cervantes, Gilberto Cardona, Johnny Ortega, Ramon Ramirez, Edward Ramirez, and Paul Rodriguez.

Lisa was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Lee Cordero, as well as her mother Josefina Cervantes and her brother Martin Cervantes.
