Maria De La Luz Arzola

October 22, 1960 — March 22, 2026

Maria De La Luz Arzola, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on March 22, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on October 22, 1960, in a vibrant family as the eldest of 13 children, Maria dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting her loved ones, embodying the true essence of motherhood.

Maria was a proud matriarch to her four children, Jose, Gerardo, Xassiel, and Noemi, creating a home filled with love and warmth that often extended to neighbors and friends alike. Her nurturing spirit was evident as she wholeheartedly embraced her role, welcoming her children into her home and often having them live nearby. Maria found joy in spending time with her treasured grandchildren: Celeste, Juan Antonio, Javier, Andres, Adriel, Angel, Reynaldo, and Chloe, and celebrating the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Laila and Adriel. These roles were among the most cherished aspects of her life, bringing her immeasurable happiness.

An avid gardener, Maria cultivated an impressive array of fruit trees-pears, apples, apricots, and figs-that were not just plants but a testament to her green thumb and love for the earth. Her beautiful rose bushes adorned her yard, much like her vibrant personality could light up any room. Maria also displayed her creativity through her crochet work, crafting delightful animals for family, friends, and caregivers, always eager to share a piece of her heart with others.

A tireless worker throughout her life, Maria never let her family take on tasks alone, always there to lend a helping hand or a kind word. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering support will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maria is survived by her children Jose, Gerardo, Xassiel, and Noemi; grandchildren, Celeste, Juan Antonio, Javier, Andres, Adriel, Angel, Reynaldo, and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Laila and Adriel; son-in-law, Pedro; and grandson-in-law, Michael. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will resonate in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
