Our beautiful Lucy blessed us with her love and wisdom for 77 fruitful years. Lucy met the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, in 1965. They married on August 11th, 1973. Their love manifested a beautiful family of 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was born into eternal life on the afternoon of August 13th, 2026, surrounded by those she loved most.

Lucy was truly God's strongest soldier. Through all life's obstacles and illnesses, she never gave up. She fought the good fight and continued to fight off cancer as long as she could. Lucy would say, "I'm at peace, and I will always be with you," so do not mourn her absence but instead celebrate her life, for in the memories of her life is where her story goes on, and the light of her soul never dims.

Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Pilar Flores; in-laws, Francisco and Juanita Rodriguez; brother, Sam Flores; sister, Anna Garcia; brother-in-law, Albert Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Dana Flores; nephew, Adrien Berube; and great-granddaughter, Ma'Teiya Bell.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Santos Rodriguez; son, Ryan Rodriguez; daughter, Rebekah (Ronald) Wiesner; brother, Adam (Cheryl) Flores Jr.; grandchildren, Alexis (Demonte) Bell, MaKenna (Kevon) Powe, Alenna, Lennon, and Kieron; fur-granddaughter, Rosie Mae; great-grandchildren, Jaedyn (JaeBean), Yzabella (NiniBell), Ali'Anna (TinkerBell), Emariya (BluBell), Katileiya (BabyBell), Demonte Jr. (TacoBell), Keziah (Nuggie), Za'Leiya (MayBell), Kiyoni (Nani), Xa'Yire (Frankie); and an abundance of other family and friends.

We would like to welcome all who knew and loved Lucy to join us in celebrating her life and laying her to rest. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. We ask all who attend Wednesday's 10:00 a.m. funeral service to wear Lucy's favorite color, purple.
