Lloyd Lawrence Legg Jr., 62, passed away on June 23, 2025, in Abilene, Texas.

Lloyd was born in Abilene, Texas on September 7, 1962, to his dad Lloyd Lawrence Legg and his mother Pasty Davis.

In his early days Lloyd worked alongside his father, Sherman Davis, at Davis Tires during high school, Lloyd's work ethic was not just a means to an end; it reflected his loyalty and character. He later transitioned into the oil fields, marking the beginning of a 25-year journey in the oil industry.

He was a familiar face at Spanky P's, where his natural charisma shone brightly. Lloyd had a rare ability to make everyone feel special; he was known not just for his work, but for his unwavering support of the bartenders and his fierce protection of those who needed it. To Lloyd, friends were family, and he treated each relationship with the utmost care and respect. He had a knack for testing patience and boundaries, but he respected and loved everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Dearing; his daughter, Tricia Legg; his brother, Ronnie Lang; his brother, Brent Davis; his longtime friends, Sandy Richards and Lisa Rosenbaum; he is survived by many cousins, and lots of friends.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Lloyd Lawrence Legg; his mom, Patsy David; his father, Sherman Davis; his sister, Judy Legg-Wayne.

Lloyd will be terribly missed by so many; his absence will be deeply felt.

There will be a celebration of life on a later day.
