Lena Jaquez passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, in Midland, TX.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, TX. Funeral services will be Friday, February 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, TX. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Lena was born on September 23, 1936, in Colorado City, TX. A devoted member of St. Francis Catholic Church for many years, Lena was known for her unwavering spirit and being a strong hard-working woman. Her family was everything to her, and she cherished her role as a mother. She was known by her family for being an amazing cook. She found joy in dancing, listening to music, and expressing her creativity through painting and crocheting.

She is survived by her son, Dino and wife Jennifer Jaquez; her son, Jaime Jaquez; her daughter, Geniva and husband Junior Camacho; her daughter, Juanita Garcia; her 27 grandchildren; her 29 great grandchildren; and her 3 great – great grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Jaquez; her 9 children and many other family members.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who loves her.
