Leigha Stevens

Leigha Stevens, 77, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on April 18, 2024 at her home in Abilene, TX.

Leigha was born on October 18, 1946 in Olney, Illinois born to James Edward Walters and Beatrice Michels.

Mrs. Stevens is survived by her loving husband, Bob Stevens; her son, Mark Stevens; her loving daughter-in-law, Stephanie. Her memory lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Madison, Alexandria, and Colton Stevens.

Mrs. Stevens lived a full and meaningful life, meeting the love of her life at a church camp in high school. Bob was the one for her as they became fast sweethearts and got married in 1966 after graduation.

Her life passion was being a seamstress and making elaborate outfits, beautiful blankets and having Bob, her Jack of all trades, make furniture for her ever growing doll collection.

Her warm and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
