Kyle Cannon

Kyle Justin Cannon, passed from this world to his heavenly home on February 10, 2026, at the age of 38. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, immediately followed at 11:00 a.m. by a memorial service in the Chapel. Interment will be in Elmwood Memorial Park behind the Chapel immediately following the service.

Kyle knew the unfailing love of his parents, family and closest friends, and he knew the unfailing love of his ever-present Heavenly Father. His heart was empathetic and never ceased to grow. While Kyle possessed many gifts, his ever-racing mind often held him hostage by imposing chaos that affected all aspects of his well-being. Nonetheless, Kyle persevered in loving and living a life for others. Kyle found God’s grace. He came to develop what our Lord instructed of each of us. Kyle saw others through God’s eyes. He did not reject. He accepted others and found beauty where so often others do not.

Preceding Kyle in death were his grandparents, Dr. Richard and Sue Cannon, and his uncle Michael Armendariz.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Linda White and husband, Andy; his father, Paul Cannon and wife, Kelly; his grandparents, Ronald and Carolyn Poe; aunts and uncles, Paula and Ray Morgan, Rhonda and Gregg Marchessault, Cristi and Richard Richardson, Cathryn Armendariz, and Dan and Christine Cannon; and cousins, Michael, Michele, Kayla, Matt, Emily, and Lindsey.
