Joseph D. Sorbello, 69, passed away, February 29, 2008 at his home in Abilene, TX.
A memorial service-mass will be 12:00 noon, Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 5410 Buffalo Gap Road, with Father Ruben Covos officiating.
Beloved son of the late Santo Don and Alma Gill Sorbello, born July 31, 1938 in St. Louis, MO. He worked for many years as a police officer for the Maplewood Police Department in St. Louis.
He is survived by his seven children and their spouses of St. Louis, MO., Susan Noto and Doug Casteel, Karen and Rick Stough, Joseph and Sharon Sorbello, Kathy and Allen Wizeman, Lisa and Rich Knibb, Michael Sorbello, and David and Syndi Sorbello of Coleman, TX; his mother Alma Sorbello; sister, Sharon and husband, Nick Dalba, Sr.; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Foundation.
