It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved John "Trey" Pierce, born on September 29, 1977, in Abilene, TX and passed away on March 28, 2024.

Remembered by his surviving relatives, including his daughter, Harlie Shae Nelson; wife, Charie Graham; sister, Jessica Ann Pierce-Griswold and husband, David Benjamin Griswold; father, Thomas Franklin Walker; stepmother, Sara Walker; sisters, Allison Walker and Claire Walker; adoptive father, John Pierce and sister, Patricia Ann Pierce; Maternal Uncle, Jack Allen Crow; and many others.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Ann Pierce, grandparents, Jack and Annette Crow; uncle, John Crow;

Trey was a man who cherished the simple things in life. Whether it was spending a day fishing, sharing laughter with friends, or engaging in meaningful conversations and hanging out with friends playing washers and horse shoes.

Trey always found joy in these moments.

In honor of Trey's memory, there will be a memorial service on May 4, 2024, at 2:00 pm, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South. This service will provide an opportunity for friends and family to come together, share stories, and celebrate the life of a man who touched the hearts of many.

Trey's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was cherished and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
