Jennie Goodman

Jennie V Grimes Goodman, a truly wonderful lady who will be forever in our hearts, passed away peacefully on the 29th of May 2008 at the Sutter Memorial Hospital in Roseville, California.

Jennie was born January 4th, 1924 in Abilene the daughter of Lewis Alexander Grimes after whom the Abilene Filtration Plant is named and Lois Blair Grimes. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1941 and attended San Marcos College. Ms Goodman was the beloved sister of Lucilee Edgar and the late Lewis Grimes, an adored Mother to Jack Jr, Greg, Cindy and Candy, and a much loved Mother-in-Law to Mary, Geoff and Syd. She will be sadly missed by her five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, family and friends.

Her memorial service will be held at The Perkins Chapel of the First Central Presbyterian Church, 400 Orange St in Abilene at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 30th. Interment of cremains will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas
