Growing up in Oklahoma, Janith attended elementary in Manitou, Ok through 5th grade 64' before relocating to Abilene where she continued her education. She often talked about picking cotton with her sisters.

Janith's job in life was to take care of the home and children. She was a Head Start volunteer with Abilene ISD in 1968. Janith liked to play cards with friends and shuffleboard. Later, she was interested in adult coloring books and did them often. She found joy in simple pleasures.

Above all, Janith was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother and great grandmother. Her family meant everything to her, and she cherished the moments spent together, creating a foundation of love and support that will endure beyond her physical presence.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Cytha Huddleston, husband Bob E Ake Sr. and niece Vickie Young.
