Janie Garcia, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Janie was a devoted wife to her husband, Ben Garcia, whom she married on May 8, 1998.

She is preceded in death by her brother (Pete Jordan) sisters (Lupe Soliz) and (Josie Ramirez).

She is lovingly remembered by her nine children: Lonnie Ramirez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Melissa (Dwayne Duncan) of San Angelo, Texas; Amy (Jose Muniz) of Abilene, Texas; Ronnie Ramirez (Elda) of Abilene, Texas; Randy Ramirez (Rosie) of Forney, Texas; Michelle Martinez of Abilene, Texas; Johnny Martinez of Abilene, Texas; Lisa Mesa (Issac) of Abilene, Texas; and Eric Martinez of Abilene, Texas.

Janie is also lovingly remembered by her sister Ramona DeLeon and 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Janie will be deeply missed by all who knew & loved her.
