James Sharrow

James Robert Sharrow August 16, 1958 - April 13, 2008 James Jim Robert Sharrow, Abilene, Texas formerly from Ogdensburg, New York, passed away on April 13th, 2008. He was 49. Born in Ogdensburg, New York, on August 16, 1958, Jim graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1976. He married Judy Herzog in Ogdensburg, NY in 1977. Jim worked in the grocery business for many years. After moving to Abilene in 1981, he was employed by Super Duper Grocery Store before becoming a partner of Texas Cash Register in Abilene. In his later years, he performed Karaoke at the Lone Star Bar in Abilene. Jim is survived by his former wife, Judy Cheralla of New Orleans, LA, a daughter, Stephanie Leigh and husband, Brandon Harkleroad of Abilene, TX, a son, James Wallace of New Orleans, LA., a grandson, Jude Ryan Harkleroad, his Father and Mother, Donald Henry and Rita Virginia Sharrow of Schenectady, NY, four sisters, Donna Lee and husband, James Fahey of Spring Valley, NY, Elizabeth Anne Torbin of Pittsburg, PA, Mary Catherine and husband, Richard Favre of Schenectady, NY, Maureen Rita Sharrow and partner, Sandy Jago of Pittsford, NY, eight brothers, Donald Thomas and wife, Katherine Sharrow of Schenectady, NY, Philip David and wife, Penny Sharrow of Ogdensburg, NY, Christopher Joseph and wife, Winnie of Watertown, NY, John Henry and wife Jane Sharrow of Fort Montgomery, NY, Peter Francis Sharrow of Schenectady, NY, Michael Anthony and wife Deborah Sharrow of Abilene, TX, Mark Patrick and wife, Eileen Sharrow of Ogdensburg, NY and Paul Allen Sharrow of Chambersburg, PA., two aunts, Shirley Garvey and Gladys Gedbaw of Ogdensburg, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Jim treasured family and friends, loved to sing, and loved to make people laugh. He will be truly missed.
